On Feb 2, 2018, Microsoft has launched a new laptop in their surface laptop line. The new laptop is cheaper than any other surface laptops. This new laptop competes directly with the base priced surface pro laptops. Both new surface & base surface pro has similar specs now.
I think it is a really well-built product. The design is awesome.I really like the different colors & Alcantara keyboard. The surface laptop is a combination of speed & style. Battery life is superb (claimed 14.5HR).

WHY CHEAPER SURFACE LAPTOP:-
Costing of surface laptops is quite high than other competitors in the base model. Due to which profits from Surface line is not very fruitful. But in holidays sale sessions they managed to make some profit they got a hike of 1% in total profit. So, according to me, this is the right strategy to go with into the market. Cheap & luxury the deadly combination.
